Do you already know how to drive a forklift but don’t have a licence? Did you have a forklift licence, but it expired? This could be the course for you.
All forklift operators must have a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) or be in a training program to legally drive a forklift.
This Nationally Recognised Training course fast tracks your journey to get a forklift licence. This course prepares students to meet the requirements of a licence assessment and suits self-motivated students. This course must be applied for using the Advanced Forklift Course Application Form.

Unfortunately, this course does not include additional training days, verbal assessments, or a reassessment.
These come free of charge in the 3-Day Standard Forklift Licence Course.
It also does not necessarily include training on both LPG and electric forklifts.

What do I Need to Enrol in the Advanced Course?
• Current forklift operating skills (within the last 12 months)
• Self-motivation to learn all theory before attending the course
• Average to high literacy and numeracy skills
• Complete the Advanced Forklift Course Application Form.
All Forklift Licence Courses Also Require You to:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be free of any medication or medical conditions that would affect your ability to operate safely
• Be able to supply 100 points of original identification (EOI)
• Be able to supply a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number
• Be capable of being assessed in the English language
• Wear enclosed shoes to your course
• Complete the Enrolment Application Form ahead of starting your course
How Will I be Assessed?
Students need to successfully complete two assessments that will test their:
• Knowledge and basic maths
• Practical skills
The first assessment will be completed on the first day which must be successfully completed to progress to the licencing assessment on the second day of the course.
On Successful Completion of the Course, Students Will Receive:
• A Statement of Attainment (nationally recognised certification)
• A Statement of Training Completion (required by Safework NSW)
• A Notice of Satisfactory Assessment to be lodged for the creation of a HRW Licence card
What do I bring to the Course?
• 100 points of approved identification (we require this for you to sit a licencing assessment)
• Enclosed shoes (protective footwear is not required)
• A sun hat for outdoor training activities is highly recommended

Step 2
Choose the course dates that suit you (any Tue-Wed or Thur-Fri), click on 'Apply Now' to request the dates and then complete the Advanced Forklift Course Application Form.
Step 3
An Assess to Lift team member will contact you to let you know you have been approved for the course and that you can now book into your course online
Step 4
Enter your personal details, email address and phone number then process your payment. Please make sure these are correct as we will use this information to contact you
Step 5
You will receive a booking confirmation email as soon as you book. Complete the application form within 48 hours of booking
Step 6
Learn the contents of the Study Guide included in your confirmation email and arrive 15 minutes early on the day of your course
