This non-accredited course is designed to assess and improve participant knowledge and skills to support safe forklift operations in the workplace. This program is aligned with current legislation applicable to forklift operations and provides PCBU’s (persons conducting a business or undertaking) and workers with practical suggestions on how they can improve their safety performance.
Whilst experienced forklift operators are the primary target audience for this training session, supervisors, managers, and human resource staff can also benefit from the knowledge imparted. Organisations wanting to proactively remind their workers of correct procedure can ask Assess to Lift to run refresher training sessions for their work team. These courses can be specifically written and developed to address the organisation’s individual work tasks, environments, and work culture which makes these courses perfect for any organisation that has one or more forklifts. We have found that this is a particularly useful program for large organisations as external observations have in many cases assisted with organisation wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Training sessions can be conducted on your work site or at our training and assessment facility in Tuggerah. On satisfactory completion of training, students will receive a participation certificate and feedback will be given to both the organisation and the student.
Please note that this training program is not nationally recognised.
